City Calling
Inspired by my latest business jaunt to The City that Never Sleeps. Not based on any real skyline of course, just a fanciful city view.
This is my first visit to New York and though it is only a day, I can see the appeal. Some things are hard to wrap my suburban head around, but others that illustrate the almost magical draw it has on many people. Thus, my colorful, dreamy representation!

Coraline
I watched Coraline in 3D with some friends tonight. What an amazing HAND MADE movie. The fact that every inch of the set, every character is not only made by hand, but also animated by hand is simply awe inspiring and creatively inspirational as well! It gives the button painting I made the evening before last meaning it didn't have to me before- other than being fun and colorful. If you have not seen it yet, and you appreciate a well told (and made!) story, check it out.
